Hebrews 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.
Bible makes it clear that God is a consuming fire Deut 4:14. From age to age, there have been several manifestations of God as a Fire. However, many believers do not know their fire-related identity. Here are 3 things you should know about your fire identity.
1 - You are a consuming fire and a spiritual light (fire) to the world.
Matthew 5:14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.
A child of a goat is a goat and a child of a sheep is a sheep. Now, if you are a child of a consuming fire, take a guess, who do you think you are? Yes, you are also a consuming Fire. Come on say: I am a consuming Fire. In the past, the light used was fire, literally. So when Bible says you are the light of the world, it is not talking about the electrical light of the world but the firelight of the world. You are fire, you are a consuming fire.
2- You are double fire, a fire that has been baptized in fire. Do you remember the words of Prophet John the Baptist?
he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Matthew 3:11
Prophet John the baptist was not hesitant about it, Jesus will baptize you not only with the Holy Spirit but also with FIRE. So you are a fire baptized in fire. Come on say a double fire. You are a double fire. Why then do you fear circumstances, witches and wizard? Don't you know you are a fire?
3- You are a fire that can NOT be quench by water but only by sin.
1 Kings 18:38 Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.
When Elijah called on God, the fire that fell was able to lick up gallons of water in the trench. No water can quench you, marine spirits' water can not quench you, idols or Juju water can not quench you. You are a consuming Fire. The only thing that can quench you is sin.
1 Thessalonians 5:19 Do not quench the Spirit.
Live a Holy Life, do no quench yourself by living in sin.
However, if you are not born again, you are not a Fire. If you want to become a fire you must be born again. To be born again, you must believe and accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour.
If you want to be born again and also become a fire pray this prayer :
I acknowledge Jesus as the son of God who died on the cross for my sins and I accept him as Lord over my life. Now I am born again, I am a child of God.
